Great location and breakfast, but poor Wi-Fi in our room was frustrating.

We had a fantastic group vacation at the lodge! Enjoyed some fun at the Bisley Shooting Centre, and exploring the beautiful grounds was a blast. The room was comfy and perfect for us. It’s great for a weekend getaway with friends, just manage your expectations around the dining options a bit. Definitely recommend this spot for a laid-back escape!

A large, spacious room provided a comfortable retreat after a long journey, complemented by bottled water which was a thoughtful touch given the lack of nearby shops. the overall environment felt a bit dated, and the cafe could benefit from a broader menu beyond basic offerings. The location was highly convenient for accessing local attractions and universities, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.

I really appreciated the spaciousness of my room and the convenient accessibility to nearby Green spaces, making weekend city strolls a delight as I discovered lovely parks and nearby historic sites during my stay.

The location is perfect for visiting the nearby army base, set in beautiful grounds that enhance the experience. Rooms are warm, spacious, and furnished with two comfortable double beds, adding to a relaxing stay. Refreshments included lovely biscuits and hot chocolate, a delightful touch. the shower over the bath could pose challenges for those with mobility issues, and dining options are limited to a short drive away.

Comfortable stay with great coffee!

We had a 2-night stay in a double room, and it was pretty comfy. The room had a fridge and was nice for chilling some drinks. Loved the daily coffee and tea supplies! Only thing was, the curtains didn’t block out all the light, so it was a bit bright at night. Still, much better than previous stays.

st george's lodge, bisley was a pleasant surprise. the room was spacious and the bed was super comfy. i really enjoyed the piping hot water in the bath after a long day. the car park was convenient, making entry easier. plus, the caretaker was exceptionally helpful and friendly.

i recommend the hotel overall, but the soundproofing could be improved.

We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed the spacious room with two comfy double beds and the delicious hot chocolate waiting for us. There are lovely grounds to stroll and a cozy clubhouse for snacks and drinks, perfect for relaxing. The only hiccup was that the earliest breakfast wasn’t until 7:30, which was a bit late for our plans, but overall it was a nice stay! 😊

my stay at st george's lodge was decent. i booked a double room, and the location was great, close to my son's passing out parade at pirbright. mike, the caretaker, was fantastic and really made a difference with his helpful attitude.

The double room was spacious with a fridge and flat-screen TV. Each day, we enjoyed free bottled water, biscuits, and well-stocked toiletries like shampoo and body soap. The terrace was a fantastic spot for relaxing. Security measures gave peace of mind, and the picturesque parkland was lovely for walks.

The rustic charm of this lodge had me falling in love instantly! I was greeted with complimentary tea, coffee, and biscuits that made me feel right at home. Not to mention, the serene parkland surroundings offer refreshing views and peaceful strolls perfect for unwinding!
